Huff Group’s capability is strengthened by a significant ongoing investment in our own plant, machinery, and operational infrastructure. We maintain full control over the resources required to deliver projects efficiently, safely, and on schedule. This ownership model reduces reliance on third-party providers and gives our clients greater confidence in delivery certainty. 

Our fleet includes:

Transport and Lifting

  • Twin steer beavertail truck for heavy machinery transport 
  • Crane truck for standing light poles and power poles 
  • Tilt tray truck for scissor lifts, large cable drums, and equipment movement 

Civil and Construction Plant

  • 3 x 8-tonne excavators 
  • 1 x 5.5-tonne excavator 
  • 2 x 2-tonne excavators 
  • 3 x track loaders / posi-tracks 
  • Jinker cable trailer for 3.5-tonne cable drums 

Access and Site Support

Technical and Data Infrastructure

DSX-5000 Fluke performance cable analyser for certified data testing 
Trimble base station surveying equipment for accurate civil construction alignment

Huff Hervey Bay – New Development (2026)

A new industrial facility currently under construction, scheduled for completion in September 2026. This expansion strengthens our presence across the Fraser Coast and Wide Bay Burnett regions, improving responsiveness and local engagement.
